CTcon: Center for Controlling & Management (CCM)
CTcon WHU

Center for Controlling & Management (CCM)

As a group controller, who can you talk to? Where do you find the right interlocutor? How can you have regular conversations with your peers and initiate much-needed debates on current topics in corporate management and controlling? Questions that we have been able to answer since 2000 with the exchange of current topics and challenges in controlling.

The Center for Controlling and Management at the Institute of Management and Controlling (IMC) of WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management, which was established in 2000 with CTcon as a founding member, regularly brings together the heads of controlling and technical experts of large German companies to discuss current topics and challenges in controlling. The CCM is led by professors Utz Schäffer and Marko Reimer.

The participant list reflects a representative cross-section of large German companies:

CCM members discuss core corporate management and controlling topics, focusing on different areas over time. The topics are:

  • Benchmarking and best practices in the circle of participating companies
  • Impact of research findings and empirical surveys
  • Impulses for the development of business practice
