What does corporate management mean for CTcon?
We take an integrated view of corporate management. Our management framework always starts with the company's or unit's strategy: based on the strategy, it is essential for successful management to create a clear understanding of the underlying management concept. The strategy is thereby translated into an action framework for management and then implemented. The next step should involve deriving targets that match both the strategy and the management practice. In addition, agreements on quantifiable metrics are established. These make it possible to evaluate whether or not the target has been reached, to identify the required measures, and to define responsibilities.
In order to ensure that the targets are achieved, we focus on two key areas of corporate management on the operational level. On the one hand, we concentrate on ensuring that specialized processes and the organization type, appropriate methods and instruments, and, finally, systems are selected and consistently aligned with the underlying targets. On the other hand, it is essential on the human resources level to recruit and train managers and employees for the specific task – especially in the case of changes – and to design and implement appropriate incentive systems.
This is the understanding we apply when working on client projects. Using an integrated perspective has also proved its worth in the case of specific projects such as developing a Value Based Management concept, building a reporting system or optimizing planning processes.
