Privacy and data security information

Introduction

CTcon places great value on protecting your personal data and using it responsibly. Our website only captures personal data required for technical purposes. The following statement explains which data are captured, for what reason, and which safety measures are in place.

Definition of personal data

Personal data are individual particulars relating to personal or material circumstances of specific or identifiable natural persons, such as the name, date of birth, address, telephone number or e-mail address (Section 3 of the German Federal Data Protection Act, BDSG).

Capturing of personal information

CTcon staff members involved in responding to your request will capture, process and use the data you submitted as part of your application or service request. Data are treated confidentially and are processed in accordance with applicable German data protection laws (BDSG and the German Telemedia Act, TMG). Your data will not be shared with third parties.

We retain data submitted in the course of a service request for five years from date of submission. Data submitted in the course of a job application (personal data and application documents) are retained for three years from the date of conclusion. This allows us to notify you of suitable job openings or service offerings at a later stage, should they become available.

Use of cookies

CTcon uses open source software called Piwik to statistically analyse site visits. Piwik in turn uses so-called “cookies”, small text files which are stored on your computer and make it possible to analyse your usage of the website. The information generated by the cookies is stored on the server of our service provider in Germany. The IP address is anonymised immediately after processing and before being stored.
You can prevent cookies from being installed by adjusting your browser settings or you can deactivate Piwik here. Please note that in this case you may not be able to make full use of all the website’s functionality.
