CTcon: International Group of Controlling (IGC)

International Group of Controlling (IGC)

CTcon is a founding member of the International Group of Controlling (IGC), an international network of institutions and organisations that see controlling as a core element of successful and sustainable corporate management.

Since being founded by leading controlling institutes in Germany, Austria and the Switzerland in 1995, the IGC has grown to include organisations from over 15 countries as members.

The purpose of the IGC is to develop and disseminate:

  • Unified and practice-tested controlling standards and terminology
  • Guidelines for the role of controllers as business partners to management
  • Principles and standards for the training and qualifications of executives and controllers

The IGC provides CTcon with a range of opportunities to exchange ideas and best practices on the latest developments in controlling with international companies and IGC member organisations.
