Use of cookies

CTcon uses open source software called Matomo to statistically analyse site visits. Matomo in turn uses so-called “cookies”, small text files which are stored on your computer and make it possible to analyse your usage of the website. The information generated by the cookies is stored on the server of our service provider in Germany. The IP address is anonymised immediately after processing and before being stored.
You can prevent cookies from being installed by adjusting your browser settings or you can deactivate Matomo here. Please note that in this case you may not be able to make full use of all the website’s functionality.

CTcon uses Mautic, the open source tool for marketing automation. The tool is used only on servers located in Germany. Mautic records the surfing behaviour of visitors to the CTcon website by means of cookies.

Mautic is used for the following activities:

  • E-mail marketing and campaigns

  • Currently used IP addresses. These are transmitted to us every time our website is viewed and are used to recognise website users

The data collected in this process tell us about:

  • The click path of each visitor
  • Downloads of files provided via the website

  • The type of access (direct access or paid access)
  • The time and date of the access
  • Demographic information: your age (online application), gender (salutation via form)
  • Geographic information: your location
  • Your behaviour: first-time visitor/repeat visitor, length of stay including the date of leaving our website, page depth, page views, bounce rate, pages per visit, date, search terms entered via the site search, page visited
  • The downloads (file names)
  • Likes and clicks
  • The redirect URL (pages that you are redirected to) including page titles
  • The access user agent (the Mautic user’s browser)
