Use of cookies

CTcon uses open source software called Piwik to statistically analyse site visits. Piwik in turn uses so-called “cookies”, small text files which are stored on your computer and make it possible to analyse your usage of the website. The information generated by the cookies is stored on the server of our service provider in Germany. The IP address is anonymised immediately after processing and before being stored.
You can prevent cookies from being installed by adjusting your browser settings or you can deactivate Piwik here. Please note that in this case you may not be able to make full use of all the website’s functionality.

  • Browser type and Version
  • Operating system used
  • Webpage from which you came to our site (referrer URL)
  • Webpage you are visiting
  • Time and date of your visit

These anonymous data are analysed for statistical purposes and help optimise our online presence and our offerings.

Plug-ins / Embedding YouTube videos

YouTube videos on our website are embedded with the YouTube Lyte plug-in. This initially loads only a preview image from YouTube servers. This means that user data on our website will not immediately transmitted to YouTube or Google. Videos are only loaded after the user has clicked the play button.

The use of YouTube is in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offers. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

For further information on the handling of user data by retrieving embedded videos, please see YouTube's or Google's privacy policy at: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en

Disclosure, revocation and deletion

You are welcome to ask us at any time about how your personal data are captured, processed and used or how to correct, block, delete or revoke them. Please note that data subject to defined legal, statutory or contractual retention periods; of interest to the affected party and worthy of protection; or which, because of special storage requirements, would cause incommensurate expense to delete; may only be blocked and not deleted (Art. 17 DSGVO).
